Meet Trevor

Trevor Doiron is a dedicated advocate for the working families and senior citizens of Jay, Livermore, and Livermore Falls and a candidate for State Representative. A fourth-generation Jay resident and proud 2017 graduate of Spruce Mountain High School, Trevor’s deep roots in the community shape his commitment to ensuring that every resident can afford to live, work, and retire with dignity right here at home.
In the seventh grade, he fundraised, recruited volunteers, and successfully executed a plan to build the area’s community garden. Fourteen years later, the garden is still producing fresh produce for the food pantry and teaching students how to grow vegetables.
In high school Trevor spent two years as the National Honor Society President – including one year as Maine State President – where he organized volunteer events in support of area nursing homes, food pantries, and Special Olympics
Maine. One event in partnership with the American Red Cross and Jay Fire Department installed nearly 1,000 smoke detectors in area homes. He was also a varsity letter golf and tennis athlete.
After high school, Trevor earned a graduate degree in public policy, specializing in real estate and economic development. His studies focused on building economically strong, sustainable communities—something he now puts into practice every day.
Today, Trevor works as a consultant for the U.S. Small Business Administration, where he advocates for reforms that help America’s small businesses grow and create jobs. His work gives him a front-row view of the challenges that families, workers, and entrepreneurs face in rural Maine and across the country.
Trevor’s priorities reflect what matters most to the people of Jay, Livermore, and Livermore Falls: reducing the cost of living, expanding job opportunities, increasing access to affordable housing, and improving health and elder care services. He believes that effective government starts with listening to the people it serves and focusing on practical results—not partisanship.
In addition to his professional work, Trevor is an active member of several civic and veterans’ organizations, including the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries. A great-grandson of French-Canadian immigrants, he also remains engaged in Maine’s Franco-American community. He serves on the Jay Planning Board and volunteers as a Meals on Wheels driver.
Grounded, pragmatic, and forward-thinking, Trevor represents a new generation of leadership for us—one that combines local understanding with policy expertise to deliver real progress for Jay, Livermore, and Livermore Falls.
